1931 Ford Coupé by Schaub Metalworks

Pro’s sheet metal bending…
…or, what have YOU been foolin‘ around when you where nineteen years old?

all photographs by Franz J. Venzin

Well, Raphael Schaub’s goal was to build his own car!

The basic frame was a 4-door Ford Model A Sedan with not much around worth to be restored. So most of what you’re seeing here is totally rebuild or heavily adapted,…by Raphael.

The much more than two thousand hours of working on this project guided him to a free interpretation of a three-windows-coupé which used to exist in 1931 as a prototype only.

…name it cockpit!
